Pontoon
Everyone’s favorite fatty, the beloved 2009 K2 Apache Pontoon Ski is
back in your face for more freakishly fun action. The brainchild of
freeriding legend Shane McConkey, the K2 Apache Pontoon is designed for
flotation, but with an innovative blueprint that challenges
conventional thinking behind ski engineering. With its massive
dimensions, surf-inspired rocker, and powder-specific sidecut that
tapers toward the tail, the 2009 Apache Pontoon is the same—an
easy-to-ski powder weapon. An imposing tip width of 160mm combined with
an equally impressive waist width of 130mm ensures the tip of the K2
Apache Pontoon will stay above surface at all times. And while
technically a powder ski, the Pontoon delivers sidecut where you need
it most—right underfoot—for maneuverability on firmer conditions or
just to get back to the lifts for a second lap. The ultimate
high-performing powder tool, the 2009 K2 Apache Pontoon Ski is built to
plane…and win popularity contests.
Tapered Tail- The shape of the Pontoon ski tapers down from tip to tail.
Powder Rocker Design- Designed specifically for powder, this Pontoon
ski incorporates sidecut into the design where you need it most, right
under foot, for maneuverability on firmer conditions or just to get
back to the lifts for a second lap. Powder Magazine Reverse Camber

deal of torsional rigidity and strength, while maintaining all the
lively characteristics of a wood core ski.

Prior Snowboards - Handcrafted in Whistler BC these boards are extremely well made and suited to big mountain riding. And they have custom Island Lake 25th anniversary topsheets.
Khyber -
The Khyber, Priors go to powder and tree board, has a wide nose, generous sidecut, and plenty of taper; these features provide excellent float and manoeuvrability in powder conditions and trees. Amazingly, the Khyber will still perform on hardpack, groomers and variable snow pack thanks to its mellow rocker camber combination profile which gives you the confidence to ride the board back to the lifts or on variable snow days. The Khyber makes riding tight trees and critical sections easier than you’ve ever dreamed possible.
Hybrid Rocker Profile: Provides flotation and predictability in powder and silky smooth transitions from edge-to-edge with excellent edge control. 2-4 mm of traditional camber underfoot provides energy from turn-to-turn.
Rider Type: Riders of all abilities looking to maximize their powder pleasures with a versatile stick. It naturally suits riders who demand no back leg burn and a quick-turning, surfy ride.
Best For: Tight Trees, powder, gladed runs, pillow lines, chutes, backcountry.

Spearhead
The Spearhead provides perhaps the most versatile freeride performance in the Prior powder board lineup. Big alpine bowls to trees, the Spearhead handles it all. The Spearhead’s gradually up-sloping nose rocker profile provides unparalleled powder trim and non catch edge to edge turn ability. Its moderate sidecut, taper and cambered tail gives enhanced performance and drive, especially when powering off the back foot.
It’s an ideal ride for anyone looking for powder performance, straight-line stability and decent edge grip in variable snow.
Profile: Nose Rocker Provides floatation and predictability in powder of all kinds. It also allows the board to initiate sooner. Traditional camber in the tail provides additional power driving off the back foot.
Rider Type: The big mountain powder rider who wants a board that excels in the powder yet performs everywhere.
Best For: Powder, wide open bowls, glades, trees, crud, and variable snowpack.
